The Role: Apprentice – Credit & Risk Solutions – KY3P (Know Your Third Party) – Platform Onboarding

The Team: S&P Global’s KY3P offers a comprehensive industry standard for third-party risk management.  “Third party solutions” and vendor relationships are under increasing scrutiny from regulators, the media, and consumers. Fraudsters and other criminal elements target companies' 3rd and 4th parties as the best and easiest route to attack and exploit. As firms increase reliance on “third party vendors” to deliver business-critical processes and services, oversight complexity also increases. We work with our global community of end users to realize best in class third party risk management programs. Our vendor risk management solutions and services designed by the industry drive efficiency, streamline due diligence, and deliver transparency across their organizations.

Responsibilities & Impact:

  • Support the KY3P Leadership Team in the development, delivery and monitoring of third-party risk management solutions.
  • Support the Onboarding team in the following functions:
  • Coordinate with Sales/Business Development Teams to prepare pre-onboarding materials for new client
  • Conduct kickoff meeting with new client, intake requirements, and present implementation plan
  • User Roles configuration initial setup
  • Workflow configuration initial setup
  • Coverage Group configuration initial setup
  • Divisions and Regions configuration initial setup

What We’re Looking For:

  • Highly motivated self-starter with good analytical skills, initiative and an ability to work independently.
  • Work experience or studies related to the banking industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience, knowledge or interest in third-party risk management would be advantageous, including a baseline understanding of key themes, regulatory drivers and trends.
  • Excellent organization skills, structured approach to planning, note taking and summarizing information.
  • Strong MS Office skills as there will be a large reliance on processing and presenting information on Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Appetite to learn from a wide variety of third-party risk management experts, which would also entail the flexibility to work across time zones globally.
  • Ability to condense high volumes of data into digestible formats in an articulate way.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Recent graduates/postgraduates from an engineering or management field i.e. B.E, B. Tech, MBA /BBA
  • Knowledge of banking industry, departments and key personas.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere.
  • Ability to interact at many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning skills with Positive attitude towards work
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness.
  • Prior work experience in the field of third-party risk management is an added advantage.
