As an Associate supporting Equipment Finance Agreement Management, you will be trusted to support the sales organization by analyzation and management of Surgical and Vision Care customer contracts. This individual will facilitate financial approvals on product pricing and deal structure, execute all duly signed agreements, and monitor Purchase Sales Agreement (PSA) and Equipment Finance Agreement (EFA) performance with any variances/deviations highlighted to management. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Deal Management: work with sales to manage the contract calendar, ensuring timely renewals and accurate pricing. Provide analytical support for contract approvals and develop solutions for discrepancies.
  • Request for Proposals (RFPs) / Tenders: monitor RFP websites and manage the submission process, coordinating with teams to meet deadlines.
  • Credit Risk: assess creditworthiness of potential customers with the Credit Management team. Advise sales on credit-related contract impacts.
  • Contract Processing: prepare and approve Purchase Sales or Equipment Finance Agreements before sending to customers. Coordinate additional proposal requirements with sales.
  • Contract Execution: execute contracts per policies, set up pricing and rebates, and handle billing and adjustments. Prepare closeout documents and transfer of title letters as needed.
  • Contract Monitoring: maintain equipment budgets and monitor contracts monthly, developing action plans for underperformance. Provide analytical support on contract performance.
  • System Administration: store all RFP submissions, approvals, and executed contracts in the Contract Repository.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • College Degree in Business (University Degree Preferred)
  • 3 to 5 year in a similar role or Finance Analyst type role.
  • Excellent English verbal/written communication skills; Bilingual in French and English preferred
  • Previous experience acting as a liaison between Sales and Core Finance.
  • Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and communicate financial information to non‐finance individuals.
