Project Role Description : Responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure utilizing knowledge in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment (CI/CD), Cloud technologies, Container Orchestration and Security. Build and test end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that systems are safe against security threats.

Summary:
As a GCP DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). A typical day involves working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes. You will leverage your expertise in cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure automation to ensure high availability, security, and performance of applications while continuously improving DevOps practices and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in GCP-based DevOps practices.
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications hosted on GCP.
Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to enable smooth releases.
Own and manage cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, security, and performance.
Take responsibility for technical decisions related to DevOps and cloud architecture.
Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and infrastructure issues.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve delivery speed.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor team members on DevOps and GCP best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:
o Strong proficiency in DevOps on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
Strong knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC.
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell scripting.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
Good understanding of security best practices in cloud and DevOps environments.

Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 4+ years of experience in DevOps, with strong hands-on exposure to GCP.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
