Job responsibilities:
This on-site Sr Quality Program Manager, based in Danderyd, Sweden, is responsible for supporting the development and production of high-precision optical instruments. In this role, you'll play a vital role in helping our team succeed by ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the production process for our precision optics. 
You will develop and implement strategic initiatives to meet the highest quality standards across all products and processes, from conception to manufacturing. A critical focus will be analyzing field failures and warranty returns to drive improvements.

  • Implement standardized processes and templates for corporate regulatory, internal, and supplier audit programs. Drive process improvements and integrate Quality Compliance requirements;

  • Establish and oversee programs to monitor and improve Quality System effectiveness. Manage the internal audit schedule, ensuring adherence and providing status updates;

  • Develop a certification program for internal auditors. Lead and coach the audit team on regulatory, quality, and system effectiveness audits for facilities and suppliers;

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement;

  • Plan and conduct annual audits, incorporating quality metrics, audit results, industry trends, and regulatory changes;

  • Support the CAPA process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective investigation, action plan implementation, and monitoring;

  • Work with Compliance and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet global environmental regulations and customer requirements;

  • Enhance product quality and reliability by analyzing field failures, implementing corrective actions, and reducing warranty costs to boost customer satisfaction;

  • Participate in warranty cost reduction programs and promote continuous improvement through adherence to manufacturing quality plans.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferably Engineering); 5-7 years of experience, with a focus on corrective and preventive actions;

  • Hands-on Quality Assurance experience in a production environment;

  • Proficient in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 standards;

  • Advanced proficiency in Swedish and English;

  • Strong skills in process improvement and investigative tools (e.g., Cause and Effect Diagrams, Trend Analysis, Control Charts);

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and preferred experience in Risk Assessment, Reliability Engineering, and Product/Process Validation;

  • Willingness to travel 5-20%.
