About the Role

This is a dynamic and broad-coverage role that will be pivotal in launching and scaling a new B2B business unit. The role will lead the B2B unit’s operations, logistics and customer management efforts and report directly to the Head of B2B.

This role is ideal for an entrepreneurially-minded leader with operations and customer experience backgrounds who is excited to tackle diverse challenges involved in growing a new business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for launching and scaling the B2B business unit, aligning with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with product, marketing, sales, and operations teams for cohesive development, market entry, and execution of business strategies.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to guide product offerings and strategy.
  • Innovation and Disruption: Leverage CookUnity’s competitive advantages to introduce innovative solutions that disrupt traditional food industry models and redefine corporate dining experiences.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the Head of B2B to manage the P&L, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
  • Product Launch Management: Lead the launch of new CookUnity markets and product verticals, including creating scalable playbooks and SOPs for expansion.
  • Customer Experience Management: Develop and execute strategies to enhance the B2B customer experience, including strategies for upselling and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Operations and Logistics Management: Optimize operations and logistics to improve customer experience and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Enterprise Sales and Growth: Drive enterprise sales initiatives, achieve aggressive growth targets, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Performance Monitoring and Process Improvement: Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for process improvement to meet business objectives and ensure scalability.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the B2B Operations teams to ensure high performance and successful execution of business strategies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience as an operations manager or customer experience leader, handling post-sales processes and customer experience in a high-growth Series A, B or C context
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, innovative thinker with a track record of successful product or business launches
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills: proficient with using data to drive decision-making and structured problem-solving
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Market and Customer Focus: Relationship-building skills and customer-centric mindset to product development and service delivery
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Ability to think strategically, problem-solve and analyze data to inform decision-making in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for Food: Enthusiasm for transforming traditional food services through innovative B2B solutions

Compensation

All final pay rates will be determined by candidates experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

$15,000β€”$170,000 USD
