ROLE PURPOSE

Logistics analyst will be reporting to Logistics Coordinator, who will be responsible for defining the activities, priorities and workloads.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

The scope of this position includes all logistics activities required for management, receiving and delivery of Tate & Lyle products, including management of the SAP system and distribution of products to final customers.

COMPETENCIES

  • Analytical thinking with aptitude for problem solving,
  • Deductive reasoning,
  • Attention to detail,
  • Interpersonal skills,
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional career, preferably in industrial engineering, logistics, international trade, management or systems engineering

EXPERIENCE

  • Operations management through SAP system
  • Management of operations through assigned logistics suppliers (3PLs)
  • Intermediate level in English and Spanish is a plus
  • Proficient in the use of SAP, Microsoft office, Excel, pivot tables
  • Mathematical ability, proficient in arithmetic and basic statistical knowledge and its applications
  • Familiar with warehouse and distribution processes

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

  • Inventory control and materials availability
  • Inter-company purchase orders management
  • Sales orders management
  • Control and supervision of sales orders fulfill, based on daily delivery schedule
  • Control, monitoring and resolution of deliveries and incidents
  • Management of transportation to end customer.
  • Logistics supplier’s supervision
