Summary

Join the team at ASM Global, the world’s leading venue management and services company. We are seeking a proactive and innovative Food & Beverage Manager to lead our dynamic operations at SAVOR.. Jacksonville. In this key role, you will spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of our catering and concession services, ensuring unforgettable guest experiences at every event. As a hands-on leader, you will oversee and mentor a diverse team of food and beverage professionals, champion efficiency, maintain quality standards, and drive revenue growth while upholding our commitment to excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Talent Management: Recruit, hire, and train a diverse team of food and beverage servers, cashiers, bartenders, and non-profit group volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage labor costs, budget performance, and inventory control, ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Event Leadership: Oversee all aspects of Banquet Event Orders (BEO), ensuring flawless execution and coordination with other departments to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Community Engagement: Maintain active involvement in the local hospitality community and professional associations to stay current with industry trends and build partnerships.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure cleanliness, upkeep, and annual maintenance of all concession equipment, always maintaining Health Department scores of 90+.
  • Marketing and Sales: Collaborate on creative marketing strategies for concession signage and sales displays to drive guest engagement and boost revenue.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Lead from the front during events, engaging directly with staff and customers to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory of food and beverage products and uniforms, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage cash handling, banquet check processing, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Staff Development: Train and supervise all concessions, banquet staff, and interns, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality service across the team.
  • Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed, with flexibility and a commitment to team success.

  • Marketing & Innovation: Ability to contribute creative ideas to marketing initiatives, including signage, product presentation, and guest engagement strategies.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and mentoring diverse teams in a high-energy environment, fostering a positive workplace culture and encouraging professional growth.
  • Adaptability: Ability to remain flexible and composed under pressure, with a willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing circumstances.

Other Qualifications

  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work extended and/or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel between building properties is required to support multi-venue operations and ensure consistency across locations.

Education and/or Experience   

  • Minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a concession’s facility servicing concessions for large events.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Customer Service experience.
