Job Description

As a Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing strategic marketing initiatives that ensure our brand connects with the right audiences, fosters growth, and supports customer success. This will include campaigns for new propositions, targeted initiatives for existing offerings, and adapting strategies to meet evolving customer needs and market trends across the telco landscape.

You’ll join the Belong Marketing Team, where you'll optimise marketing performance, drive transformational initiatives, and implement impactful changes. Working alongside teams such as Digital Performance, Customer Communications, Retail & Partners, Customer Research & Insights, Creative studio, and many more. Your work will ensure cohesive brand experiences that align with our business goals, customer expectations, and team objectives.

This is a fixed 12-month contract.

Reporting into the Head of Marketing, your role as a Marketing manager will:

  • Provide input into marketing strategies and planning that support marketing objectives, working closely with the wider marketing team to identify opportunities to drive growth and optimise our brand metrics.
  • Develop and execute the media strategy and measurement framework including quantitative and qualitative marketing objectives for each initiative within the marketing plan by understanding the source of growth and opportunity across owned, earned and paid channels.
  • Manage and allocate budgets effectively across various marketing channels and campaigns to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Be responsible for managing the execution of campaign activity including creative development, project planning, media planning and stakeholder management, developing and delivering campaigns.
  • Work closely with our creative and agency partners to develop effective brand campaigns and lead the development of the overarching creative messaging for all marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance within the team as well as across the business, setting clear goals and objectives that align with our purpose and relevant KPIs.

About you

You are a passionate marketing professional with a creative flair and hands-on experience designing and executing impactful marketing strategies. You excel at developing and deploying multi-channel campaigns through impactful media that engages our target audiences and drives measurable results. You have strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, a keen eye for detail, and collaborative team player.

Skills and experience

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role with proven experience in marketing strategy and demonstrated ability to deliver multi-faceted marketing campaigns.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a relevant field.

Skills

  • Test creative outcomes is highly regarded, evaluating and reporting on campaign activity to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Campaign delivery providing timely communication with all internal and external stakeholders throughout the campaign development process.
  • Demonstrated high level of communication skills, both verbal and written, to build solid relationships and confidently present campaign results.
  • Ability to define and manage critical paths to achieve marketing goals and effectively leverage resources.
  • Sound analytical and reporting skills.
  • Ability to deal with fast-paced environments and excel under pressure.
  • Highly organised, proactive and dynamic.
