The Opportunity
The Sustainability Value Creation Partner is responsible to capture current and upcoming trends and requirements in sustainability, cascade and actively inform and support the incorporation into internal decision making across the organization to generate value, opportunities and new business models and promote sustainability value creation positioning strategies.
This position can be fulfilled in hybrid set-up within Europe. We are prioritizing skills and experience over physical work location.

How You Will Make an Impact
Promote sustainability value-creation (internal) and value co-creation (with stakeholders), including economic (financial) value, social value, environmental value, value for the actors\stakeholders
Identify, understand, and anticipate the current and emerging issues and trends in Sustainability
Monitor customers attitudes and behaviors and market shifts for sustainable products and expectations as well as helping to influence behavior to more sustainable choices
Help internal and external stakeholders understand and respond to the concerns, expectations, and aspirations related to sustainability, applying social science methodologies to help guide positioning, strategy, and communications
Shape our sustainability marketing co-creating strategy, positioning, and messaging for brand building around purpose and sustainability: drive our operating context to help position programs and communications in ways that resonate with stakeholders
Identify, prioritize and lead focused initiatives that leverage sustainability commitments and accomplishments into opportunities that may enhance operational excellence, value proposition to customers and other stakeholders, innovative supplier collaboration or new business models and partnerships that accelerate positive sustainability impacts
Develop and foster sustainability ecosystems (or networks) for value creation and co-creation with customer, institutional, and environmental partners considering institutions and institutional arrangements and highly valuing formalized institutions in the form of laws, regulations, certificates, international standards, and other guidelines
Advice and coordinate senior professionals leading corporate finance, R&D and technology, marketing and sales, operations, and sustainability teams across regions and industries to identify the most effective cross-functional strategies and best practices for achieving enterprise sustainability goals and driving maximum positive impact
Your background
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business, economics, sustainability, environmental, or a related field, and at least 5 years' experience in a business environment
5-7 years of experience in Business, Operations, Project Management or Science/Sustainability-related field in manufacturing industry preferred
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder engagement, including, but not limited to customers
ESG operational and regulatory knowledge: technical aspects of any ESG sustainability macro-areas, frameworks and best practices in sustainability reporting
Very strong commercial instincts, with an ability to translate ESG and sustainability concepts into value creation drivers and operational strategies
Strong relationship building acumen; ability to understand, articulate and engage on multiple priorities at all levels across a large global/regional organization, and ability to build and maintain relationships with a diversity of external stakeholders
Ability to spot oncoming issues and connect dots, grasping the short- and long-term implications of decisions across a breadth of stakeholders
Judgment in navigating ambiguity and changing circumstances, knowing when to act independently and when to escalate topics with a willingness to contribute on both a strategic and tactical level
