POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining multiple aspects of FORTNA's internal sales and marketing database systems. This position will support internal commercial operations systems such as Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Marketo, and Clari, for FORTNA's US and International offices. It will include administrating Salesforce, project management, setting up and maintaining reports and dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and working with Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery teams to productively integrate these tools into our business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Working cross-functionally with multiple departments to realize the full capabilities of our sales and marketing tech stack.
  • Conducting analysis and documentation of existing business processes; recommending process improvements.
  • Translating user requests from sales, business development, operations, marketing, Client support, and other users into workable requirements, document specifications, and test cases.
  • Performing day-to-day Salesforce administrative tasks and addressing production support issues (e.g., user management, modifying data, creating ad hoc reports).
  • Developing training materials and conducting training sessions with business users to improve the adoption and efficient use of Salesforce.com across the enterprise.
  • Developing and maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, accounts, leads, opportunities, dashboards, reports, and any other functional areas as required.
  • Importing and exporting large volumes of data.
  • Evaluating and recommending App Exchange tools in Salesforce for feasibility and impact to the business.
  • Providing problem root cause analysis to resolve complex system problems as part of Tier 1 support.
  • Creating processes to ensure data integrity.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
  • 1+ years’ experience with Salesforce.com or related CRM, specifically with experience in configuration, maintenance, and reporting
  • Proven experience in the fundamentals of relational databases
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and to react with clarity under pressure
  • Energetic self-starter with strong interpersonal, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness in completing tasks, and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Salesforce training and Admin Certification, or plans to become certified in first 12 months of job

The base salary range for this role is $66,100 to $99,200.  This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
