How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Senior Manager, Market Planning, you will use your expertise in leading and managing primary market research and competitive intelligence to gather and analyze insights from research and work closely with commercial and strategy teams across Arcellx to drive critical strategic decisions for the launch of anitocabtagene autoleucel (anito-cel).

In this role, you’ll be an essential member of the cross-functional commercial launch team, collaborating with the commercial operations team, our co-promote partner Kite Pharma, and the Arcellx commercial analytics team. This team is responsible for developing and socializing the insights generated pre- and post-launch for anito-cel. Your work will also play a major role in ensuring that anito-cel is delivered to patients battling multiple myeloma in need of more options in their treatment journey.

The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute primary market research projects with HCPs and patients to gather actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to define research objectives, identify market insights, and create competitor target product profiles (TPPs).
  • Analyze and integrate insights across primary research, competitive intelligence, secondary literature, and other data sources.
  • Support pre-launch, launch, and post-launch strategies by sharing integrated market insights and competitive intelligence.
  • Partner with Kite to jointly lead market research and competitive intelligence activities.
  • Plan and manage competitive intelligence for key conferences (e.g., ASCO, EHA, ASH), including pre, on-site, and post-conference coverage.
  • Conduct competitive threat assessments and wargaming workshops to evaluate future competition impacts on anito-cel’s commercial opportunity.
  • Attend scientific congresses and provide insights on treatment paradigms, mechanisms of action, and clinical trial landscapes.
  • Summarize competitor earnings and investor calls, highlighting key metrics and implications.
  • Communicate timely updates on clinical data releases, product approvals, or failures, and provide commercial landscape updates.
  • Enhance market research best practices by evaluating new tools, methodologies, and vendor options to address business needs.

Skills and Experience We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or master’s with 3+ of experience leading market research and competitive intelligence.
  • Deep expertise in market research approaches and tracking studies used across biotech industry is required.
  • Hematology Oncology, Oncology, Cell Therapy and/or rare disease experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in co-promote requiring data exchange across two companies preferred.
  • Outstanding project management skills to coordinate activities across stakeholders, vendors and projects.
  • Ability to take initiative, build productive relationships, work cross-functionally, and manage multiple projects.

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $195,000 per year. Where a candidate falls within that range is determined by factors such as years of experience. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus based on company goals and an equity (RSU) grant. We do offer relocation assistance for roles if required.
