The AREA REVENUE MANAGER is responsible for maximizing the revenues of assigned properties by strategically coordinating, monitoring, adjusting and fine tuning all revenue sources and channels.   

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to think strategically and forecast market trends in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrate a keen knowledge in the area of revenue management for hotel properties.
  • Possess strong Franchise and brand knowledge/experience.
  • Ability to implement, manage and maintain multiple strategic processes
  • Highly detailed with above average organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must possess the aptitude and desire to learn new systems and implement procedures designed to maximize revenue.
  • Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years’ revenue management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task and execute in challenging situations.
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel inventory systems is a plus.
