As part of Citi’s Finance Transformation program, the Global Reporting Governance & Oversight organization is charged with leading efforts to codify a Reporting Governance Framework to manage operational risks inherent in reporting processes and strengthen controls supporting regulatory and management reporting.  The Global Reporting Governance & Oversight organization is looking for a dynamic individual to help execute the target state framework and governance standards for regulatory and management reports globally.  This individual will be responsible for implementation and monitoring compliance of a global reporting policy, reporting governance controls and compensating measures that result in effective risk reduction. 

The Financial Solutions Lead Analyst will be a key enabler in driving adherence to the target state reporting governance framework. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues across various levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders involved in governing and overseeing regulatory and management reporting to ensure that requirements of the Global Regulatory and Management Reporting Policy are implemented and adhered to

  • Lead the collection, analysis, review, documentation and communication of materials supporting the end-to-end governance framework and robust controls supporting regulatory and management reporting

  • Monitor execution of minimum control standards required for regulatory and management reports globally taking into considerations requirements from Operational Risk Management

  • Contribute to the design of a common framework, attestation, and metrics for policy adoption and compliance monitoring, working with different stakeholders across businesses and locations

  • Administer appropriate local and global governance or oversight committees as required by policies

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of guidelines and compliance checklists where needed

  • Centralize and own dashboard reporting to senior management.  Work with stakeholders to remediate any identified gaps

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience working in the finance industry, experience in Finance, Reporting, Finance Risk & Control or Governance

  • Implementing appropriate policies, standards and procedures covering reporting activities, including execution of global policies and associated governance models

  • Coordinating global Committees and Forums, with senior finance and shared services stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to work effectively across a wide variety of people across functions, regions, and seniority to deliver results

  • High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, synthesize complex concepts and large quantities of information in a complex and dynamic environment

  • Intermediate project management skills or experience in complex systems implementations preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field -- degree completed. Masters degree a plus

  • Work schedule: Mid-shift

  • Hybrid work setup
