The Luxury Manager position is responsible for managing the property’s luxury affinity-based programming with the goal to continue strengthening the exposure, visitation and expenditure of the luxury shopper to the property and luxury brands. This position is the primary point of contact for luxury retailers, charitable organizations, individual luxury clients and external partners. This person must possess the skills deemed necessary to deliver unparalleled personalized service to all guests and tenants as well as fashion expertise reflective of luxury brands. The Luxury Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute the luxury programs designed to build relationships and drive sales.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• In tandem with the Direct of Marketing, create the VIP Luxury Suite Program annual plan and budget as well as manage expenses. Integrate programs that directly impact sales at luxury retailers and restaurants (where applicable), especially high-profile tenants.
• Lead the execution of the VIP Luxury Suite Program including management of the lounge, retailer integration, client benefits and overseeing client acquisition strategies.
• Build awareness of program via participation and fashion integration through involvement with appropriate organizations, charitable groups, events and/or boards. Evaluate and recommend appropriate organizations, charities, Affiliate and attend notable community events and act as luxury ambassador with the goal to achieve community goodwill and expand non-profit collaborations
• Broaden third party luxury affiliations beyond charities. Examples: country clubs, luxury real estate brokers/residences, wealth management companies.
• Provide continuous evaluation of the VIP Luxury Suite Program, working with the Marketing team to create new and or modified assets for improvement and a basis for program evaluation.
• Establish and maintain KPIs and a reporting structure including individual program and year-end reports
• Curate events for qualified clients as well as assist retailers with events on and/or off property examples include trunk shows, mini-fashion shows, intimate shopping parties. Source, hire and manage third party vendors.
• Utilize expertise in luxury fashion, trends, styling in all aspects of the program including client services, marketing materials and lounge environment. Develop and execute communication tools including but not limited to specialized social pages and email invitations/newsletters.
• Manage the associated team and lounge operations including serving as primary staff member of the VIP Luxury Suite Program and execution of services provided by luxury concierge staff.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train candidates for the VIP Luxury Suite Program support staff
• Serve as luxury information liaison to co-workers and other departments; participate in efforts to implement the center’s projects and achieve the center’s goals.
• Be responsible for planning quarterly luxury manager mixers
• Be responsible for being part of the corporate Luxury Advisory Committee
• Assist with leasing, SBV and new retailer opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years experience working in the luxury retail and or fashion industry with specific knowledge of brands, trends and the marketplace
• High school diploma or equivalent.2 years college preferred.
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Must be able to influence others without formal authority
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of basic computer programs utilized at property.
• Ability to spend 100% of his/her time on their feet when providing services to all internal and external customers.
• Excellent communication skills—oral and written.
• The incumbent must be, outgoing, self-motivated, and present a professional, pleasant, and courteous appearance at all times.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual applicants preferred.
The salary range for this position is $84,876.31 - $153,053.92. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon various factors, including an individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications
