Position Summary
 

This role is focused on ensuring high-quality IT solutions from design through delivery. The Quality Assurance Advisor leads testing efforts, partners closely with project teams, and helps ensure products meet business needs before reaching production.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and shape testing strategies across projects of varying complexity
  • Partner with business, application, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure QA standards, processes, and best practices are followed from planning through release
  • Analyze workflows, requirements, and designs to build effective test plans and scenarios
  • Execute and coordinate functional, regression, end-to-end, and automated testing
  • Track, triage, and report defects, risks, and overall quality status
  • Serve as Test Lead, reviewing results and guiding teams to successful outcomes
  • Translate business and UAT scenarios into automated regression test cases
  • Develop and maintain automated test beds and supporting test data
  • Provide QA metrics, reporting, and insights to support continuous improvement
  • Act as a QA subject matter expert, mentoring team members and improving procedures

Additional Responsibilities

  • Represent QA in root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and defect planning discussions
  • Support QA management with data collection and process improvements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of Test Automation Experience with Playwright / Selenium
  • 2 years of experience with Java / Java Script
  • Expertise with Cucumber BDD, Selenium web driver, Eclipse IDE, TestNG , Maven, GitHub and Jenkins
  • Extensive knowledge in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
  • Strong understanding of Defect Workflow
  • Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
  • Extensive knowledge of PBM and Specialty Pharmacy
  • Strong experience with Rally /Jira
  • Strong SQL skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work under high-pressure environments and simultaneously lead multiple projects


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
