xAI is seeking an engaging and professional security champion to support the ongoing growth of the organization’s security program.

Reporting to the Security Supervisor, Security Officers are dedicated security professionals with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a fast-paced high-tech environment. Security Officers work as a team, patrolling the company’s properties via vehicle and foot and/or ensuring security at a series of fixed locations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company regulations.

This is an in-person role based in Memphis, Tennessee.

 

Responsibilities: 

• Serve as operator at static guard posts.
• Support the execution of security plans in support of xAI operations.
• Provide mobile security support as directed by the security operations center.
• Respond to emergency situations (fire/medical/suspicious person/etc.).
• Execute security support as dictated by xAI security leadership.
• Execute roving patrols of assigned locations.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 2+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, or emergency response.
• 4+ years of experience as a Security Officer or 1+ years of experience as a Security Officer at xAI.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, when needed.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Position is subject to pre-employment drug screen and random drug and alcohol testing.
• Personal integrity is crucial. This position is expected to maintain operational security and safeguard sensitive information.

 

Pay Range: $25 - $30 / hr

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at xAI.
