Job Profile:

The Product Lifecycle Master Data Supervisor is accountable for overseeing the health of the day-to-day Product Lifecycle Master Data operations. Ensuring Service Level Agreement is met, Key Performance Indicators are closely monitored as well as compliance with Bose’s policies and regulations are followed. This role requires a strong background in data management and governance, as well as the ability to effectively supervise and support a team of data specialists. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various data domains and will be skilled in fostering collaboration, development, and growth among team members. They will demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and have a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders and teams across the organization. This role will be reporting directly to the Associate Director, Business Process Design and Integration and will be managing a team of data stewards in the Lisbon office. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support the team members responsible for reseller product SKU setup sheets, material master data maintenance and governance, product information management in Salsify and Hybris service option data.

  • Collaborate with Associate Director, Business Process Design and Integration to define team goals aligned with Bose strategy.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Work closely with team members to identify and address data quality issues and develop strategies to mitigate them.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure data meets their needs and address any concerns or issues.

  • Serve as an escalation point of contact for all incoming Product Lifecycle Master related queries.

  • Provide hands-on support, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

  • Maintain integrity of Product Lifecycle Master Data through standardized governance procedures, continuous data cleansing and process automation, alongside the Data Domain Stewards.

  • Collaborate with IT, Order Management, Supply Chain, Customer service and other cross functional organizations to ensure seamless data integration with other systems and applications.

Experience Requirements:

  • Fully proficient user in Excel/Smartsheet  

  • SAP and Winshuttle experience preferred

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent Time Management, Planning & Organizational skills  

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Effective communication and influence skills 

  • Proven track record building trust cross functionally to deliver results 

  • Experience with Agile & Lean tools and methodologies 

  • Customer service mindset with excellent customer service skills 

  • Strong English language skills, Portuguese considered as a plus 

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Lifecycle Master Data in a Shared Services environment

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing people
