As the Global Marketing & Brand Communications Director for Philips OneBlade, you will define how one of the most disruptive grooming brands shows up in culture, commerce, and conversations worldwide.
OneBlade is not a traditional grooming brand—it sits at the intersection of tech, design, self-expression, and modern identity. Loved by Gen Z and millennial consumers across the globe, it is one of the fastest-growing franchises in personal grooming, with strong momentum across the US, Europe, Latin America, India, and beyond.
In this role, you will shape a globally iconic brand platform, lead breakthrough creative work, and build a connected, digital-first brand ecosystem that wins in today’s attention economy—across social, creators, retail, and emerging AI-driven touchpoints.
You bring the strategic sharpness and creative ambition to make OneBlade not just a product—but a cultural brand people choose, talk about, and advocate for.
Your Role
Brand Platform & Cultural Positioning
Own and evolve the global OneBlade brand positioning, rooted in real grooming behaviors, self-expression, and evolving identity norms.
Build a distinctive, future-facing brand platform that connects functional superiority (hybrid shave/trim/edge technology) with emotional relevance and cultural meaning.
Define a bold and recognizable creative territory and tone of voice that cuts through in a crowded, fast-moving digital landscape.
Ensure OneBlade consistently shows up as a progressive, inclusive, and culturally fluent brand across markets.
Strategy & Integrated Communications
Lead the 18–24-month global communication strategy, connecting innovation pipelines, portfolio priorities, and consumer insight.
Translate strategy into clear storytelling frameworks, messaging architecture, and full-funnel content ecosystems.
Identify cultural shifts, emerging behaviors, and platform dynamics to keep OneBlade ahead of the curve.
Turn business priorities into a high-impact, integrated MarCom roadmap that balances brand building with performance.
Global Campaigns & Content Ecosystems
Lead the development of world-class, culturally relevant campaigns across social, creators, digital, retail, and commerce.
Champion digital-first, creator-led, and platform-native storytelling that resonates with younger audiences.
Build scalable global toolkits—master assets, modular content systems, and playbooks—that empower local markets to win.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, high-impact campaigns across all touchpoints.
Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration
Partner closely with Category, Product, Design, Insights, Media, CRM, and regional teams to deliver a seamless global-to-local brand experience.
Translate product innovation into simple, compelling, and emotionally engaging stories.
Enable markets with strong guidance, toolkits, and best practices while allowing room for local cultural relevance.
Drive continuous optimization of the end-to-end consumer journey across channels and touchpoints.
Brand Excellence & Governance
Safeguard and elevate the OneBlade brand identity globally, ensuring consistency with room for creative expression.
Push for excellence across all content—social, e-commerce, CRM, and retail—ensuring the brand feels premium, modern, and relevant everywhere.
Lead agency partnerships and creative ecosystems, setting a high bar for ideas, craft, and execution.
Act as a thought partner to senior stakeholders, bringing fresh perspectives and bold ideas.
Leadership & Talent
Build and lead a high-performing global MarCom team, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous growth.
Develop future-ready capabilities in digital storytelling, creator marketing, and content systems.
Create an environment where teams are inspired to do their best and most ambitious work.
You’re the right fit if
You bring 12+ years (Master’s) or 15+ years (Bachelor’s) of experience in global marketing communications, ideally within consumer, lifestyle, beauty, or tech-driven brands.
You have a proven track record of:
Building iconic brand platforms with cultural relevance
Leading integrated, digital-first campaigns across social, creators, and commerce
Turning insights into powerful, distinctive brand narratives
Driving both brand equity and business impact
You combine strategic thinking with creative instinct—and know how to turn ideas into execution at scale.
You understand how brands grow today:
Through content, communities, and culture
Not just campaigns
Leadership & Collaboration
You are an experienced leader who can:
Inspire and align cross-functional teams globally
Influence senior stakeholders in a complex matrix organization
Balance long-term brand building with short-term performance
You bring clarity, energy, and ambition—and raise the bar for everyone around you.
Preferred
