About the business:

“The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning.”

Your responsibility:

• Preparation of 3D modeling of high voltage products like Breakers, Surge Arresters, Capacitor Banks, Disconnectors, Battery Energy Storage Systems, and other P&IC related Products (>66kV and above).

• Generating BoM of modules and products and creating part numbers using SAP/ERP.

• Co-ordination and reviewing the 2D and 3D drawings before submitting the same to customers.

• Preparation of guaranteed technical parameters for various high voltage. Addressing the technical queries raised by customers during the execution of the project in case required.

• Supporting various cross functions like SCM, project management, and quality for understanding the customer requirements and specifications if required.

• Supporting onsite installation and commissioning colleagues for understanding the customer drawings and other technical support.

• Coordinate with customers, resolve queries, and ensure the engineering drawings are approved on time.

• Guide and support other team members and act as a mentor and review their works prior to submission to stakeholders.

• Maintain planning, and KPI and engage the team actively. Documentation Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects as per the quality process.

Your background:

• Years of experience: 4 – 6 years with Diploma / bachelor’s in electrical / mechanical engineering.

• Hands of experience in 3D tools like Creo /Pro-E, Solid Works, and Windchill or similar PLM tools.

• Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. IEEE, IEC, etc.

• Understanding of Manufacturing Drawings & Electrical Schematics.

• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
