Job Description:

Responsibilities

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a talented and creative Communications Coordinator I (Learning and Development) to join our dynamic Corporate Office located in Menands, NY. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing and executing high-quality training programs and content relevant to employees, managers and other external audiences. The incumbent will report to the Deputy Director and will develop publications, conduct live training and create recorded webinars. The incumbent will be responsible for streamlining and maintaining published works and improving the navigability of reference material repositories. They will play a pivotal role in stakeholder engagement and ensure alignment of training initiatives with corporate goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three years of relevant training experience; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience.  A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least two years' demonstrated experience in training or instructional design.

  • Proficiency with software used to create virtual and in-person training, instructional materials, teaching aids, user guides or manuals

  • Experience using an ERP business system such as Workday, Oracle Netsuite, or Microsoft Dynamics 365

  • Demonstrated commitment to creating accessible and inclusive training environments and materials

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.


This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.


Travel, up to 10%, will be required.
