Your New Role... 

Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is looking for a Payments Business Analyst to join the Payments – Financial solutions team. This team is responsible for managing the administrative duties that are essential to existing and new payment processor partnerships. With an impressive global brand footprint this role will support existing account set up processes across all WBD properties which includes Max “The One to Watch”, Discovery+, Harry Potter Studio Tours, DC Universe Infinite, and more.

As a global unit, we are looking for candidates across our many offices around the world to support payment processing operations specific to Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and Payment Partner Platform User Access Controls. The scope of the role includes Sarbanes-Oxley user access controls, SOC audit support, PCI Compliance Questionnaires support, and all compliance-related obligations for WBD’s payment processing partnerships. You will work closely with the Payments Compliance Manager and collaborate with other members of the Audit, IT Compliance, Information Security, Product, Engineering, Legal and Global and Treasury teams.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • User Provisioning/Deprovisioning for all Global Processing Partners

  • Work closely with IT Compliance team to understand business objectives and data/supporting document requirements.

  • User Access Review (UAR) Reporting and actioning

  • Improve data access and insights.

  • Reducing manual dependency on pulling data.

  • Assisting in standardizing metrics, tables, and queries.

  • Control Testing Support

  • KYC reviews for new lines of business and adhoc review requests

  • Partner with Product, Legal, Engineering and Treasury teams to gather and validate necessary supporting KYC documents.

  • Deliver consistent data and reports to key stakeholders to keep them updated on any deficiencies.

  • Payment Provider SOC Type 1 & 2 Assessment reviews and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in Compliance, SOC controls and KYC

  • Minimum of 1 year working with Payment Processors

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Analytics or other similar discipline or comparable business experience

  • General knowledge of the KYC review process

  • General knowledge of SOC Type 1 & 2 Reports

  • General knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and application user access management controls

  • General understanding of Card Payments, billing, tax, and reporting systems

  • Good analytical skills displaying the ability to tell a story with data

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across various departments and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with payment industry regulations is a plus.
