With the ambition to accelerate the business growth and increase the market share of Individual Life business (to become top 3 Life insurance company), it is crucial to introduce a more holistic distribution model that shift from a product-driven sales model to a more holistic, solution-driven distribution approach.
This is an individual contributor role who will focus on both individual and corporate insurance business.
- Drive product mix promotion to the field forces by revamping and providing all products materials/new sales tools or new service sales support; delivering H&A, ILAS, HNW and L&H client seminars, product trainings, HNW case management and client meeting. By doing so, we aim to achieve the optimal product mix under the RBC framework for a favorable financial KPIs, sustainable agency growth and tailored product solutions for our target client segments.
- This job duty frequently includes giving valuable education and advice to channels & clients. The ability to approach ever changing situation proactively is beneficial because it can complete tasks more quickly and prioritize client needs with ability to transform complicated concepts into simple stories and presentations for motivating the distribution channels and gain their buy-in.
- Manage the HNW clients in investment, financial planning and providing portfolio advice. Additionally, this role will execute and manage the new partnership, client onboarding process and case submission and participate in client meeting (if required).
- Drive the execution of H&A, ILAS & HNW product strategy to channels through various new product promotion activities such as conducting district visits roadshow, providing product solutions for different client segments and developing product newsletter/sales tool/sales stories app for enhancing the client experience.
- Beef up and develop ILAS and market overview newsletter; share regular market update to channels; develop HNW product sales materials and provide promotional support to all channels.
- Drive SLHK Family Office Added Value Services strategy by providing comprehensive wealth management advice to channels and clients; design tailor-made financial planning of family office alike one stop service packages for channels, build portfolios while maximizing their interest through a range of HNW insurance and ILAS products. He/She will be dedicated to develop and expand existing network with channels & communicate and work with legal counsel and Tax/Trust advisers, private bankers, EAM advisors, medical enterprises, Immigration advisors for implementing wealth transfer strategies, tax planning, asset & health protection solutions.

- Understand all distribution channels’ needs and concern and able to negotiate with the channels to resolve the disputes and conflicts.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and effective communication will be important to navigate uncertainty, align stakeholders and find common ground to achieve the desirable outcome.
- The role is also required to deal with rather complicated disputes / issues from channels in respect of product, and business conflicts. The conflicts between operations, product, pricing, FI business development teams or DoA / HoA with Agency, the job holder is expected to resolve the mis-understanding between channels and back-end supports.
- Ability to transform complicated concepts into simple stories and presentations for motivating the distribution channels and gain their buy-in
Qualifications
- At least 8-10 years relevant wealth management in HNW insurance industry experience, with 2-3 years in related experience is preferred.
