Strategic Vendor Partnerships

  • Lead and manage travel supplier relationships ensuring customer satisfaction through regular status and business reviews.
  • Proactively research, open tickets, and escalate as needed to resolve issues, complaints or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
  • Support the development and negotiations of contracts and agreements for travel related spend. Leverage industry insights to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Monitor and optimize the use of company travel rewards under the guidance of VP of Finance; Director, Global Compliance, Ethics, & Privacy;  and VP, Internal Audit

Day to Day Operations

  • Directly responsible for the management of the company’s global travel program including oversight of dedicated resources provided through the company’s TMC (currently American Express GBT).
  • Collaborate with Pure’s Physical Security, Benefits, and Enterprise Resiliency teams to monitor incidents and provide rapid support and coordination during critical events affecting travelers
  • Provide exceptional support to executives, EAs, and employees ensuring a seamless travel experience 

Cost Savings, Compliance and Controls

Monitor and update global T&E policy and recommend strategies to enhance policy adherence and compliance

  • Collaborate with TMC agents and dedicated resources in 31 countries on policy questions, employee escalations, and questionable behavior
  • Maintain awarded trip trackers for payroll purposes and ensuring terminated employees are removed from eligibility lists
  • Oversee travel approvals for company’s large events to drive compliance with company policies, ensure employees are paying for personal deviations, and coordinating with the Events team on logistics
  • Benchmark travel expenditures 
  • Develop and implement cost savings initiatives

Communications, Change Management, and Training

  • Build effective working relationships across the organization to ensure stakeholder alignment and support for travel initiatives
  • Develop and deliver trainings for employees on travel policies, procedures, and systems to enhance the user experience 
  • Create and manage travel related communications including T&E Slack channel, HUB, educational emails, and knowledge base articles

Project & Systems Administration

  • Stay informed on the latest system releases and updates, testing and implementing changes as necessary.  
  • Testing of Concur configuration changes done by TMC partner
  • Ensure all data and system integrations with travel vendors are accurate, updated, and functioning properly to ensure correct data flows
  • Understand user navigational experiences for all travel tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for users

Continual Process Improvement

  • In collaboration with leadership, create and prioritize the travel roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement 
  • Analyze travel data to identify areas of opportunity to improve the cost, quality, and efficiencies of travel services, driving continuous improvement 
  • Communicate and influence executive leadership in a professional and productive manner

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field or relevant experience
  • 10+ years experience with Concur’s Travel configuration
  • Extensive knowledge of corporate travel best practices including contract negotiations
  • Experience leading a global travel management program 
  • Experience with data analysis and process flow
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and cross functional teams
  • Experience communicating and influencing executive leaders
  • Able to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Experience with Google Suite preferred

The annual base salary range is: $158,000.00 -  $238,000.00 

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
