The Pricing & Product Analytics Manager will be responsible for conducting ongoing analysis of Appian’s pricing policies, operationally implementing pricing across Appian’s business processes and IT systems, and analysis and reporting on pricing adoption and market performance.

Pricing research and policy comprises:

  • Communicating and training on Appian pricing policies

  • Evaluating policy discrepancies and exceptions

  • Modeling and analyzing proposals for new pricing

Operational implementation comprises:

  • Maintaining and updating the SKU application

  • Coordinating with BT to ensure pricing is properly reflected in Salesforce and Aspen

  • Maintaining the Price List

  • Ensuring content on Sales View is current and complete

  • Creating reports in Mosaic and leading periodic reviews of pricing performance with leadership

Pricing Analytics comprises:

  • Market analysis of Appian pricing relative to industry norms 

  • Evaluating pricing performance to optimize revenue creation 

  • Conducting data analysis on pricing adoption, discounting levels, and sales activity

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing commercial constructs, pricing, and packaging in the enterprise software industry. This could be as a dedicated pricing analyst, and a member of a sales operations organization, or as part of a FP&A team.

  • MBA or MSc preferred but not required
