We are looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Learning & Development Supervisor to join our team in Batam. This role is key in driving the professional and technical growth of our manufacturing workforce. As the L&D Supervisor, she/he will assess skill gaps, develop training programs, and create initiatives that foster a continuous learning culture, enabling our team to meet operational excellence and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Needs Assessment: Collaborate with managers to identify skills and competency gaps within the manufacturing team.
  • Program Development & Implementation: Design, coordinate, and deliver technical, safety, and leadership training programs tailored to the unique needs of manufacturing staff.
  • Onboarding: Create an effective onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand company values, policies, and essential job skills.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Monitor training effectiveness, gather feedback, and adjust programs to enhance learning outcomes and operational performance.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all training complies with industry regulations and promotes a safe work environment.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain training records and provide regular reports on training progress and employee development.

What Can You Bring to Alcon:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of training methodologies, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
  • Certifications: relevant certifications in manufacturing training are a plus.
