Join a growing team focused on improving and expanding Claims Data Solutions. Work closely with Verticals, Marketing, Insurance Clients and the entire LexisNexis Risk Solutions team to create and implement a long term claims product roadmap. About the Role
The Product Manager I will typically own a product feature and lead project execution. Individuals in this role will own the development plan and represent their feature within the PM team and will have an internal network across product domains. As a product manager, the position must also be a representative expert for the rest of the organization on the product and must ensure that all departments are prepared for successful product delivery and go-to-market readiness. They will have a solid understanding of the customer and target market. They will represent the needs of the customer to the delivery team and will support and participate in the demo to key stakeholders at program milestones.
Responsibilities:
Customer Focus - Represents customer requirements and understands key needs in the Property Casualty Auto Claims Market; familiar with customer frameworks; focuses on delivering commitments; and stays updated on market news and competitors.
Data-Driven Decision-Making & Analysis - Autonomously analyzes data and situations; proficient in using predefined dashboards for decision recommendations; evaluates options and makes recommendations considering business implications.
Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle - Executes go-to-market launch plans; collaborates with internal partners (e.g., sales) to assess product needs; trains and educates partners; contributes to marketing materials; addresses customer complaints
Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle - Leads the execution of a product roadmap for a single feature area; improves customer experience; coordinates activities using development tools; defines and prioritizes requirement changes for engineering; and contributes to process improvement activities.
Strategy & Commercial Acumen - Contributes to product strategy development and execution; aligns personal goals with product and business strategy; understands role's impact on product and business success.
Technical - Understands the company technology stack for their feature area; understands relevant technology architecture; and engages developers to understand technology constraints.
Personal Capability - Develops self, solves problems, and innovates.
Interpersonal Skills - Communicates effectively, collaborates, builds relationships, and motivates others.
Focus on Results - Works hard to achieve goals and overcomes obstacles.
Requirements
Prior Property Casualty Claims Experience - preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
Demonstrated ability to work with others to modify or maintain a product and identify technology challenges.
Demonstrated readiness to engage in customer engagements.
Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.
Education to Qualify: Bachelors or Masters degree in a Business, Risk Management and Insurance, Management Information Systems is preferred, but not essential.
Suggested Minimum Years of Product Management Experience: 2-4 years
