Join us at Hitachi Energy as a Finance Manager reporting to the Global Common Shared Services (CSS) function. Lead a dynamic team in Birmingham and Stone, collaborating with CSS centers worldwide, including Tallin. Collaborate closely with the UK&IE Country Finance Manager and become a key member of the local Finance Team.

Responsibilities:
Ensures that all Group and fiduciary finance requirements in all countries are duly met and complied with, overseeing compliance with IFRS, local statutory GAAP, Group and local reporting, internal controls, legal and tax requirements, with support of Common Shared Services (CSS).
Ensures transparency in financial reporting and enhances and manages internal control environment.
Coordinates preparation and enforces the CSS Finance front office budget.
Leads, guides, motivates, develops, and sets targets for the CSS Finance front office staff.
Drives implementation of best practices and continuous optimization of local processes in line with Lean Management principles to gain efficiencies and drive productivity gains.
Arranges and drives internal customer review meetings on a regular basis and tracks mutually agreed action plan.
Ensures statutory audits and other internal/external audits are handled with high standards and in a professional manner.
Encourages collaboration and talent moves amongst local finance organization, across businesses and CSS.
Background:
Post qualification experience within Finance and Accounting.
High level experience in various fields of Finance (accounting, reporting, IFRS, UK GAAP, taxes)
Proven extensive experience as a manager leading a team.
Preferably working experience in an international corporation.
Strong leadership and communication skills, stakeholder management, able to deal with complexity, analytical skills, ambitious and self-motivated.
Language; English fluent
