Based at our newly developed location in Goes, Netherlands, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our fantastic team.    

The Project Management department leads multidisciplinary projects where new products are developed, and existing ones are renewed, optimised, and improved.  As the Project Manager, you will ensure the coordinated transfer of new designs to operations and service organisations. Stakeholders are consulted regarding requirements and kept informed about progress to ensure smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects within set goals, customer expectations, cost-quality ratio, schedule, and budget according to company standards, considering the interests of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define requirements and objectives, develop the project plan, prepare and monitor the budget and be responsible for risk management.
  • Ensure the execution of the test program.
  • Prepare and report project updates for decision-making.
  • Monitor the overall project schedule.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Comply with rules and regulations regarding standards.
  • Provide input for the Product Roadmap, including input to the department manager regarding the business case of a project.
  • Make decisions to resolve bottlenecks and prevent undesirable developments.
  • Discuss escalations with the department manager.
  • Select suppliers and make agreements.
  • Request, manage, and monitor subsidy projects.

To be suitable for the position, you will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

  • Experience in project management
  • Project management skills developed in a technical or engineering company – we are open to industry, but ideally you will come from food industry or be willing to be trained in this sector
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel within Europe to meet customers when required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment which can change rapdily
  • Fluency in Dutch, English essential, and ideally German
