Role Overview

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS), Critical Facility Systems (CFS), and security technologies such as CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and Controls. The role includes coordination with contractors/vendors, supervising site activities, managing timelines, and ensuring quality adherence. This position will operate under Teamlease contractual payroll.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

  • Lead and manage end‑to‑end execution of IBMS, CFS, CCTV, ACS, and Controls projects.
  • Review project schedules, drawings, technical submittals, and implementation plans.
  • Ensure completion of installations as per approved design, scope, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight risks, dependencies, and delays proactively.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in IBMS, BMS controls, CFS, surveillance systems, and access control solutions.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure correct configuration, testing, and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with OEMs, system integrators, and contractors for system deployment.
  • Verify system integration, functionality testing, and acceptance procedures.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Prepare and conduct technical meetings, progress reviews, and site walkthroughs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractual compliance.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports, snag lists, testing documents, and handover files.
  • Maintain documentation for system design, change requests, and as-built drawings.

Team Handling (Contractual)

  • Supervise and allocate tasks to contractual manpower deployed through Teamlease.
  • Validate daily productivity, attendance, and ensure workforce safety compliance.
  • Conduct on‑site training and ensure team adherence to SOPs and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering (preferred).
  • 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in:
    • IBMS / BMS
    • Critical Facility Systems
    • CCTV systems
    • Access Control Systems
    • Building controls & automation
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system architecture.
  • Proficient in vendor management and stakeholder communication.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and project handover.
  • Experience managing contractual manpower (Teamlease preferred).
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
