With a Global remit, Finance Analytics will identify, develop and deliver value driving digital solutions through trusted and valued relationships with their customers in the business. This role requires understanding of Global Finance Services to establish where opportunities within Digital Finance Analytics & Automation could be applied and the importance of adoption to deliver the actions.

Roles and Responsibilities: -

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms for all projects running across data, digital and analytics team in GFS
  • Partner with Insights & Analytics, Digital & Innovation and Advanced Analytics workstream leads to track and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives of Global Finance Services.
  • Partner with key process users (GPOs -Global Process Owners, GSK Operations, BI Operations, Global Reporting) to drive the intended purpose and strategic alignment on common objectives.
  • Captures project feedback in monthly RAG file for all workstreams and GSK Ops, track and report the digital and analytical project values (£million) in SteerCo meetings.
  • Track the effectiveness and efficiency of KPIs across teams and conduct monthly rollouts.
  • Central point for tracking £million results of all financial performance Improvement initiatives stimulated by insights from all digital tools (Alteryx, Celonis, RPA, PBI, Advanced Analytics) and capabilities owned by digital data and analytics team.
  • Leverage data and metrics to produce headcount analysis, thriving people dashboard and provide insights to support leadership decision making.
  • Consistently report on all governance related tasks and activities to relevant stakeholders

Experience - 7 - 10 yrs

  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of operations, governance, and project management
  • Ability to deal with high levels of complexity and ambiguity, as well as be able to effectively navigate through multiple stakeholders and their perspectives.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with global teams, and across multiple functions.
  • Strong team focus and collaboration skills. Able to flex style to influence and interact effectively with wide range of individuals at all levels to support achievement of GFS objectives and priorities.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement digital tools and techniques and project management processes (eg. Powerapps, Alteryx, GenAI, Design Thinking)
  • Proficiency across several data reporting tools (including MS Office)
  • Operational view on how Finance Analytics and automation enables performance improvements.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage shifting priorities, assignments and projects while achieving deadlines.
  • Proactive and can-do attitude. Enthusiastic to take responsibility, ownership, and be involved in all aspects of GFS/DDA activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal (communication and presentation) skills
  • Strong value realization skills, understanding the financial implications of a project.
  • Change Management experience.
  • Mastery of Project Management tools and digital applications is a plus
