Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the efforts to design, build, and configure applications tailored to specific requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for project-related activities, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The position requires managing multiple tasks, addressing challenges as they arise, and maintaining clear communication to drive project success and deliver high-quality solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards.
- Document design specifications and configuration details to support future maintenance and upgrades.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when necessary.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- Strong understanding of application design and configuration principles within the utilities domain.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to billing processes and system integration.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices for custom software engineering.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Billing.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
