CACI is seeking an Oracle SOA/Middleware Administrator to support a Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) based logistics system that provides functions including asset visibility, supply, maintenance, readiness, task organization, repairs, request tracking, and financial information.

Position Overview:

You will work in a Production (and pre-production) operations team administering SOA/Middleware solution and perform daily health check of SOA/Middleware components, apply approved SOA/Middleware builds in pre-prod and Production environments, advise on change requests to the SOA/Middleware components, and recommend process improvements to the SOA/Middleware components. Additionally, you will resolve issues in pre-prod and production environments with the SOA/Middleware layer, gather and interpret logs, identify Root Cause and Corrective Action needed to restore and maintain system stability to the middleware and advise on future improvements to the SOA/Middleware components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for administering middleware components of interfaces including SOA, B2B, Axway, & Connection Manager.
  • Oracle SOA Suite 11g and/or 12c Implementation Specialist in design and development experience providing business solutions using SOA 12c/11g - B2B, Axway, SOA, Connection Manager
  • Review Technical Design Documents and code to understand and gain knowledge about the middleware functionality of RICE interfaces.
  • Work closely with Interface Lead to plan upgrades and improvements to middleware components.
  • Update relevant documentation for changes to middleware.
  • Review Change Requests and aid in gathering requirements for middleware.
  • Confirm logging parameters align with desired information gathering requirements.
  • Provide technical support for migrated patches to middleware
  • Prepare design alternatives and design specification documents.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active T5 level background investigation (required)
  • Current, active Security+ certification or equivalent or ability to obtain active Security+ certification
  • Experience installing and documenting a new SOA 12c environment starting from build document
  • Experience extending an existing SOA 12c domain to additional Managed servers
  • Experience installing SOA and Middleware patch updates
  • Experience installing Java JDK and JRE patches
  • Works effectively with Oracle Support to diagnose and remediate issues with SOA environment
  • Familiarity with setup and operation of SOA lifecycle scripts
  • Experience diagnosing functionality of SOA composite processes
  • Experience writing/modifying Linux shell scripts and utilities (tar, vi, etc.)
  • Experience in SOA upgrade
  • Experience in middleware impact analysis in EBS database upgrades
  • Middleware development experience SOA, B2B, Axway, & BPEL.
  • Experiences in Web Services development
  • Experience communicating with APIs to Oracle databases:
  • Strong in SOA, XML, XSLT, Alerts and Workflow development (customizations and extensions)
  • Perform technical analysis of patches and open SRs with the product owner as required
  • Perform impact analysis of the product updates released periodically by the vendor
  • Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 5 – 10 years of Experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules R12/R11
  • Experience in requirements analysis, testing, documentation
  • Understanding about Web Services and integration with Web Services
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware: Understanding of Oracle Fusion Middleware components like Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
  • Oracle ERP API and Open Interface: Proficiency in using Oracle ERP APIs and Open Interface tables for integration. Proficiency in using Oracle ERP APIs and Open Interface tables specific to supply chain modules will be great.
  • Middleware Technologies: Knowledge of middleware technologies for seamless integration between Oracle EBS and other applications.
  • API Development: Ability to develop, test, and maintain custom APIs for integration with Oracle EBS.
  • Business Process Understanding: Strong understanding of business processes and how they align with Oracle EBS supply chain modules are plus.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have

  • Experience in Marine Corps / DoD supply and maintenance processes
  • Experience in Agile

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$89,500-$188,000
