The Lens Team creatively applies innovative augmented reality technology to design and ship Face Lenses, World Lenses, AR Games, Utilities and more. This team is composed of designers, data scientists, and product/program managers, interactive engineers that create custom AR lenses and interactive Snapchat games.

We’re looking for an AR Project Manager to join the Lenses team at Snap Inc!

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and manage projects related to Lens Studio Creators, ensuring they are executed efficiently and aligned with Snap’s AR goals

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and creator relations, marketing, data science to bring AR tools and features to life

  • Collect data-driven insights and present recommendations to improve project outcomes and the user experience

  • Investigate and filter out the needs of existing and new community creators to determine strategies and prioritize tools that enhance their AR development experience

  • Keep teams updated on timelines and milestones, making sure everyone’s in the loop

  • Analyze trends and patterns to identify opportunities for growth and improvements within Lens Studio and creator engagement

  • Create guidance on features, tools, and best practices

    
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong project management skills, including experience with tools like JIRA and task management

  • Familiarity with AR/VR technologies and development environments like Unity, Unreal Engine, Maya, Blender, and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to perform product-oriented quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis and A/B testing, using tools like Looker

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects effectively (sets clear goals, identifies roadblocks, designs solutions, and tracks progress against deadlines)

  • Ability to prioritize and focus

  • Ability to take accountability and responsibility for the success of large programs


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field such as computer science, digital media, game design, or business, or equivalent years of experience with AR projects, creative agencies, consumer tech, or entertainment

  • 3+ years of experience with project schedule management and work breakdown structures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the gaming, entertainment, or interactive media industry

  • Understanding of real-time 3D content creation and AR development workflows

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $114,000-$171,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $108,000-$163,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $97,000-$145,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
