We’re seeking an experienced and proactive Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our team—someone with a passion for delivering quality results who’s ready to bring their federal contracting expertise and dedication to compliance.

In this role, you’ll own critical accounting and finance functions, including Sales, COGS, Gross Margin, Revenue Recognition, Receivables, Credit and Collections, and Sales Tax, while contributing to significant Finance Department projects. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity in financial reporting within our corporate group.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing and maintaining revenue recognition and invoicing processes, especially under federal contracting standards
  • Tracking deferred revenue, forecasting revenue recognition under ASC 606, performing variance analysis, and preparing annotated reports
  • Verifying compliance with federal contract terms, schedules, and agreements
  • Preparing, reconciling, and verifying accounting information to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of the company’s financials
  • Providing high-quality, timely support and problem resolution to meet organizational financial goals
  • Preparing technical accounting memos as needed
  • Supporting the annual audit process
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships across departments, focusing on organizational and team goals
  • Engaging in process improvement and project management initiatives
  • Completing additional tasks and duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, with federal contracting experience highly valued
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • CPA license strongly preferred, with CGMA designation a plus
  • Strong understanding of project-based ASC 606 accounting
  • High ethical integrity and ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Expertise in ERP accounting software, with Jamis Prime experience considered a plus
  • Excellent skills in Excel and strong computer proficiency
  • Proven ability to make decisions with incomplete information, collaborate effectively with others, and present information to management and team members
  • U.S. Citizenship required, along with the willingness to obtain a Secret security clearance

Note: Base salary range is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually. This range represents the expected compensation for this position.
