About the role

The Supply Chain Business Systems team is at the forefront of innovation.  We enable global demand and supply planning operations by implementing world-class systems and tools that position Bose at the top of the Consumer Audio and Automotive Systems markets.

As a Business System Planner, you are responsible for the ongoing delivery of systems functionality as well as the long-term vision of transformational capabilities.  You’re a Product Owner that represents the business stakeholders by driving and prioritizing enterprise and divisional objectives with the IT development team.  You act as a project manager by defining business requirements, refining technical work, and delivering systems releases with a focus on testing, user documentation, training, and change management.  The Business System Planner is a strong, vocal leader that brings new ideas and solutions to the business in support of the brand’s long-range vision.

What you’ll do

  • Keep current with industry trends and emerging solutions related to demand and supply planning systems and data.
  • Define system strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with business and IT teams to develop new system features and functionality.
  • Define feature scope and business value.
  • Build development storyboards and prioritize backlog.
  • Make product implementation plans, highlight key milestones and releases.
  • Provide business validation on solutions as they are developed.
  • Partner with the business to ensure end-user acceptance testing.
  • Monitor post-launch initiatives to ensure quality and benefit realization.

Education and Experience

  • B.S. in Supply Chain Management/Business/Engineering preferred.
  • Demand / Supply Planning experience required.
  • Kinaxis RapidResponse experience required.
  • ERP experience required.
  • SAP ECC / APO / BI experience a plus.
  • Agile experience a plus.
  • Product Owner experience a plus.
