FY25 FSG Summer Internship Overview

Finance Strategy Group (“FSG”) mainly focuses on corporate strategic programs, corporate development projects, and ad hoc financial analysis projects to help executives and finance leaders form strategic decisions to ensure Micron's continued success.

As a Finance Strategy Group Intern, you will work closely with the FSG team and Micron finance leaders to support financial modeling and strategic financial analysis. The 12-week FSG Summer Internship program (June 2025 to August 2025) offers opportunities to apply your skills to real-world projects, expand your network with Micron professionals worldwide, and gain insights into the Semiconductor/Memory industry.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Supporting FSG’s modeling efforts for corporate/finance strategic analysis and ad hoc financial analysis projects.
  • Assisting with investment and M&A financial analysis.
  • Conducting industry/business-related research.
  • Automating internal reporting processes and handling ad-hoc report/analysis requests.
  • Collaborating with personnel inside and outside of Finance; communicating developments in work to management.

Your Qualifications Include, But Not Limited To

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in a finance-related field such as Finance, Economics, or Accounting, or an Engineering degree with the completion of major finance-related courses
  • Experience in financial modeling and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally. Capable of working under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing an MBA (or finance-related advanced degree) with 3 to 5 years of prior work experience.
  • Completion of or progress toward CPA or CFA.
  • Outstanding financial data presentation and analysis skills; ability to generate insights and recommendations from financial data.
  • Understanding of the Semiconductor and Memory industry is a plus.

Candidate must have a December 2025 graduation date or later to qualify for internship.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$55.82 - $55.82

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
