Influential, is looking for a Associate Director, Strategy & Analytics to drive the planning and execution of our campaigns with a focus on delivering a best-in-class campaign strategy. This role is responsible for identifying and driving account growth opportunities while fostering innovation that delivers on our clients’ business goals. This role works directly with clients to define and distill their goals, create success metrics, and activate strategies in collaboration with their dedicated portfolio team within the luxury fragrance vertical.

 

In general, on a typical day you will:

  • Partner with Client Solutions leads, Creative and Creator Managers to develop insight-driven strategies for a luxury beauty account 
  • Provide a sound business justification for investments in influencer marketing based on market trends, audience insights, past campaign data, and experience
  • Drive the strategic direction for accounts by working directly with client and account team focusing on audience targeting, creative, and media distribution 
  • Leads the campaign recap process by translating campaign data into actionable insights and future optimizations for overall brand success
  • Campaign performance analysis includes leveraging the analytics dashboard in Traackr to export, aggregate and interpret data 
    • Campaign sentiment analysis includes reporting on the drivers for positivity and/or negativity
    • Social listening analysis includes constructing Boolean queries and using social listening tools to analyze mentions, sentiment, consumer cohorts, and trends
    • Using market research using tools to provide actionable insights and recommendations

 Being a Manager of Strategy and Analytics requires:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years agency experience in social listening or previous strategy, consulting or analytics roles 
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with market research tools (e.g., Global Web Index, Statista, etc.)
  • Experience constructing Boolean queries and using social listening tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Netbase, Infegy, TalkWalker, etc.) to analyze mentions, sentiment, consumer cohorts, and trends
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.) and Google Suite
  • Knowledge of leveraging social content data and providing actionable insights and recommendations on content strategies
  • Experience with survey design and quantitative survey analysis for audience segmentation and insights
  • A highly collaborative team leader with a proven track record in effectively managing their own workload and proactively communicating with key stakeholders
  • Ability to set up efficient and effective processes and manage and meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic, who enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • Proven success developing and implementing new, innovative ideas
  • A customer-centric, analytical and ROI based approach to all decision making
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data and insights to inform business decisions and achieve broad buy-in of strategic initiatives
  • Proven ability to successfully work with and guide senior-level clients and internal portfolio teams
  • Self-motivated and driven, enthusiastic about the digital space and multi-channel marketing
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and apply strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with external and internal clients
  • Knowledgeable of all major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and innovations in the social realm
  • Thrives within a dynamic and evolving environment, competent at generating process and structure where none exists

  • Experience at a marketing-tech, media start-up or agency
  • You’re passionate about social media and/or influencer marketing

Salary Range:

$110K - $125K
