Job Description Summary

The Manager, People Readiness is responsible for preparing team members of the organization to accept change driven by new HR initiatives, programs and HRIS system implementations. Examples of initiatives include but are not limited to benefits program changes, new or changing HR policies or process and Workday or ServiceNow enhancement.  

This role will foster preparedness and adoption for leaders and team members across the organization by creating meaningful change management/readiness plans on behalf of HR. The key elements of the readiness plans are communications, training and change strategies. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for partnering across HR and HR Strategic Support team to drive readiness among the organization’s leaders and team members by employing appropriate change strategies

  • Assess and understand the current state of team members’ capacity for change and identify the gaps and opportunities for improvement

  • Clearly identify audiences for readiness planning

  • Conducts change impact analysis for how HR initiatives, program and system enhancements will impact specific organizational audiences

  • Address change impacts through appropriate change, communication or training tactics

  • Develop strategic readiness strategies and tactical plans for HR initiatives, programs and HRIS system implementations that include appropriate change management, communications and training activities.

  • Coordinate change, communications or training resources as needed to collectively deliver large change initiatives for HR

  • Partner with HR functions to review and edit functional communication materials as needed

  • Drive strong understanding and adoption among team members about various HR programs and initiatives

  • Partner with organizational or operations leaders as needed to develop solutions for readiness plans and drive preparedness

  • Introduce and increase adoption metrics for individual readiness plans to indicate success of the plan

  • Measure and evaluate the impact and outcomes of the people readiness activities and interventions.

  • Promote continuous improvement and progress by soliciting and incorporating feedback and best practices as the readiness program progresses

  • Employ PROSCI or other change methodologies to readiness planning


Requirements:
Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, technology, organizational change management, communications, or a related field

  • Three + years experience in creating change management/readiness plans and/or communications

  • Strong understanding and/or certification of change management methodologies, approaches and tools (PROSCI certification preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead project management related to creating change strategies

  • Demonstrated communications experience (HR communications preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience is leading functional HR communications and change programs

  • Success in developing strong working relationships across many layers of an organization and outside agencies

  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines

  • Excellent writing and presentation skills

  • Self-starter; ability to identify key stakeholders for input into change activities



Physical Demands:
Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job.  Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work.  All duties must be performed according to Sunbelt’s safety policies and guidelines.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to comply with ADA/ADAAA.

Base Pay Range: $102,097.00 - 140,383.10
