The opportunity:

After the event (ATE) insurance is a form of legal expenses cover that is purchased following an event which gives rise to a legal dispute.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identifying new leads and converting to new business – Cold and warm leads

  • Manage marketing campaigns, following up via the telephone and booking appointments to help support commercial ATE and other income streams

  • Achieve first call resolution and respond within agreed SLA’s.

  • Be the focal point of contact for all commercial ATE clients.

  • Cross sell all ATE products across Markel ATE solicitor network

  • Establish and develop a good working relationship with solicitor firms and promote ATE division’s products & services. This will consist of maintaining existing clients and developing new ones

  • Support BDM’s by organising, co-ordinating and managing diaries

  • Be the main contact for our broker partners and underwriters on commercial ATE

Our must-haves:

  • Experience in sales, telesales or recruitment desirable

  • Experience in insurance or ATE sales is desirable not essential

  • Experience in pro-actively identifying new leads/cross-selling and farming existing clients

  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
