OVERVIEW:

This role will work onsite at our Smithton Distribution Center Monday-Friday 10:30 AM-7:30 PM.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unemployment

    • Partners with 3rd party vendor to process all unemployment claims/hearings

  • Background Check

    • Main point of contact for Sterling Background checks for both DSG and GGXY

    • Makes decisions on alerts

    • Processes/tracks all adverse action letters

    • Ensures logins are created for all new users, including new stores

  • HR Support

    • Collects necessary information for subpoenas

    • Processes and tracks all invoices for Field HR (Sterling, legal fees, Hodes, Process Reproductions)

  • Administrative Support

    • Coordinates Training for new hires for Field HR/Recruiting

    • Runs/distributes various reports as necessary

  • Recruiting Support

    • Schedules HR candidates for SSC Interviews

    • Hodes Support for Recruiting Team/stores/applicants

    • Manage field recruiting InBox & process field (DSG/GGXY) salaried offer letter requests, mailing offer letter packets; complete the hiring process in Hodes

  • Relocation

    • Back-up for Relocation Coordinator

  • Vendor Contact

    • Main point of contact for GNeil/stores needing required federal/state/local posters

    • Maintain relationship with printing vendor to ensure adequate inventory levels of supplies such as the Associate Handbooks, Separation forms, etc

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree required, prefer Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years HR administration experience

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Proven record of dependability and reliability

  • Excellent PC skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

  • Experience with Kronos and Workday is a plus
