Product Owner – Vendor Privileged Access Management

Your new team

Cyber Security Technology Team own and support the underlying technology that enables our Business and Control teams protect the bank and our customers.

We provide 24/7 support of our technology via our Service Management, Operations and Engineering teams, work with our delivery teams to improve our risk posture, work with the business, control, and architecture to drive our future technology roadmap.  

Your new role

The role’s purpose is to expand Privileged Access management capability to vendors, building and implementing a new Vendor Management module whilst enabling the organisation to go faster safely.  You will proactively work with Senior Stakeholders, Business Owners, various Business Units, Control Managers, and Service Owners, to collaboratively achieve outcomes with technology delivery teams.

Partnering with Architecture and Senior Technology SMEs, you will also aid in drafting the Identity and Access Technology roadmap to aid with funding and delivery priorities.

As a Product Owner you will

  • Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business outcomes.
  • Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations and act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team.
  • Drive project inception and exploration to ensure alignment of product strategy.
    Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions.
  • Identify, articulate, and manage risks and compliance across streams of work.
    Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design.
  • Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of product roadmap.
  • Lead the Squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities.
  • Maintain a well prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
  • Release prototypes and iterate a product that meets customer needs and achieves the crew’s goals.
  • Define the product vision and goals in collaboration with security, business, risk, and technology stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management.
  • Manage the Squad’s performance to defined objectives including Objective and Key Results (OKR), service management metrics and budgets.

Your Experience

  • A strong understanding of certain IAM products including Sail point IIQ, CyberArk is an advantage.
  • Privileged Cloud Identity experience and strong knowledge of Identity concepts is highly desirable
  • Experience in a technology focused leadership role, including high levels or prioritisation and stakeholder management.
  • Experience across technology disciplines, including IT strategy development, application, and technology management.
  • Experience in collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence and in data visualisation tools
  • Architecture experience is an advantage.
  • Awareness of risk, compliance and audit is an advantage for this role.
