Job Description: Publisher Programmatic Enhancement Consultant  

Position: Publisher Programmatic Enhancement Consultant 
Location: Delhi / NCR preferred.  
Experience Level: Up to 10 years 
Industry: Publisher Sales Organization (Online Publisher 

Role Overview: 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programmatic ad operations, with a focus on fill rate improvement, render rate improvement, SSP relations, and backfill experience. Expertise in Google Ads Manager (GAM) and an in-depth understanding of its workings are essential for this role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Fill Rate Improvement: 

  • Analyze current fill rates and identify areas for improvement. 

  • Implement strategies to optimize fill rates across various ad inventories. 

  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to maximize ad inventory utilization. 

Render Rate Improvement: 

  • Monitor and analyze render rates for programmatic ads. 

  • Develop and execute plans to enhance render rates, ensuring higher viewability and engagement. 

  • Work closely with technical teams to address any issues affecting render rates. 

SSP Relations: 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs). 

  • Negotiate deals and ensure optimal performance from SSP partners. 

  • Regularly review SSP performance and recommend adjustments as necessary. 

 

Backfill Experience: 

  • Manage and optimize backfill strategies to ensure consistent revenue flow. 

  • Identify and implement additional backfill opportunities to maximize revenue. 

  • Work with internal teams to integrate new backfill sources seamlessly. 

Google Ads Manager (GAM) Expertise: 

  • Utilize GAM to manage and optimize ad campaigns effectively. 

  • Ensure best practices in ad trafficking, targeting, and reporting. 

  • Stay updated with the latest features and updates in GAM to leverage its full potential. 

Data Analysis and Reporting: 

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to track performance metrics and identify trends. 

  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and present findings to stakeholders. 

  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations. 

Collaboration and Communication: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and technical teams to align on goals and strategies. 

  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment. 

Qualifications: 

  • Up to 8 years of experience in publisher sales and programmatic ad operations. 

  • Strong expertise in Google Ads Manager (GAM) and thorough knowledge of its functionalities. 

  • Proven experience in improving fill rates, render rates, and managing SSP relations. 

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. 

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience working with top-tier publishers. 

  • Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and industry trends. 

  • Technical proficiency in ad technologies and platforms.
