JR64899 Supply Chain EngineerAs an Supply Chain Engineer (SCE) are responsible for generating the materials requirements and ensure their timely availability (Weeks of Supply) to support SIG demand needs. SCE will work closely with the procurement team (AT Supply Management) to ensure on-time delivery of materials, and to monitor and ensure optimized inventory levels. SCE will control and manage the premium pay variance (PPV) required to purchase materials through site-balancing, prioritization, and allocation scenario analyses. SCE works to prevent and minimize excesses and shortages situations. SCE are required to work closely with the Product Managers (PM) and Factory Operation Managers (FOM) for a comprehensive product end-of-life (EOL) management, raw material #PO cancelation opportunities, material strategy for repair support or product life management sustainability. SCE responsibility also includes supporting of alternate part proposal management from the contract manufacturer (CM) or procurement; where SCE need to work closely with the Manufacturing, Purchasing and Engineering teams. Ensuring material availability for smooth transition from New Product (NPI) to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM); where they are involved to review and update the Management Review (MR) checklist and provide approval for D5. SCE also provides scenario analysis and recommendation for decisions on Last Time Buys (LTB), PPV, constraint analysis (if any) and other material related scenarios. SCE also develop scenario analyses for all type of business scenarios. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Attend and update material related topics (LTB, risk buy, CMWR, ECN management, qual, alternate, etc) in Product Team Meeting (PTM). Co-own CTB for NPI and HVM with ATSM.
2. Provide/Update weekly update summarized material supply status updates for management update.
3. Ensuring the supply of WOS view to the ATSM team, get status updates and action plans from them.
4. Performing What-If or Scenario Analysis for multiple business scenarios.
5. Material Site Balancing, raw material sales to CM and sites.
6. Managing/Controlling PPV Expenses/ Minimize/Avoid extraordinary expenses (PPV, scrap, etc).
7. Material Planning and control for 2 years (incl. repurpose materials & SS Replenishment)
8. Ensuring material availability in tactical window up to holistic 26 weeks to meet tester delivery.
9. Manage overall SIG inventory at the lowest optimum level.
Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study relevant experience preferred.
At least 3 years' experience working within supply chain, logistics, or related discipline.
Proficient in Microsoft Application, Power BI, Tableau, ERP system (SAP Preferred).
Familiar with statistical analysis and data manipulation techniques.
Good understanding of supply chain & operational process and requirements and bring excellent communication skills to present finding and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
