Summary: As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats. Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations to ensure the security of our organization's systems and data. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the effective operation of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. - Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to identify potential threats. - Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting forensic analysis. - Develop and implement security measures to protect systems and data. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed. - Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies. - Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Chronicle SIEM, Google Chronicle SOAR. - Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. - Knowledge of network security protocols and technologies. - Familiarity with security incident response processes. - Experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
