Job Summary:

Functions under the direction of the Manager of Sponsorships & Events. Responsible for representing Wellstar Health System at community events by staffing marketing booths and/or event registration, and providing information on the organization's services, programs, classes, service lines and locations. Responsible for the transport of equipment and supplies, and set-up/breakdown of marketing booth or event registration.

Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Event Activation
- Represent Wellstar Health System at corporate and community events by consistently creating an impactful first impression and engaging attendees in a meaningful and relevant manner.
- Assist in staffing, organizing, and executing events.
- Network and build trusting relationships with consumers and attendees.
- Ability to influence and elevate the brand of the organization.
- Thoroughly understand organizations services and programs.
- Track consumer feedback and preferences and suggest creative event ideas.
- Provide feedback to the Consumer Engagement department leadership regarding consumer comments and requests.
- Transport equipment and supplies set-up/break down marketing booth and event registration. Operation of fleet vehicle is required.
- Follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, and scripting.
- Serve as event team leader when assigned. The assigned team leader serves as the point person for the external site coordinator for the duration of the event. The team leader is responsible for leading execution of on-site and post-event logistics, troubleshooting any issues or incidents and following up as appropriate with supervisor. Scheduling
- Communicate as required regarding schedule availability and schedule confirmation.
- Maintain work requirements.
- Staff special events as needed to assist in meeting department goals.
- Travel to all markets within scope of service and role.
- Attend required staff meetings. Equipment Utilization
- Properly utilize resources, equipment and materials provided to execute programs and services.
- Transport equipment and supplies to designated program site, and set-up/break down as needed. Regulatory and Compliance Management
- Assist in maintaining compliance to regulatory agencies and protocols and report to supervisor as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Follow established department and system policies and procedures when performing duties.

Required Minimum Education:

High school diploma (or GED certificate) Required and
additional training/certifications depending on program Required or
services provided. Required

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience in related field Required and
marketing, public relations or community outreach/relations experience. Preferred

Required Minimum Skills:

Needs excellent communication skills, professional attitude an outgoing, friendly personality, and a desire to meet new people.
Must be able to safely lift 40+ lbs.
Ability to use EXCEL, Word and have basic computer operational knowledge.
