What You Will Do:
This position requires skilled program management and process improvement consultant that can help CISA’s Capacity Building’s Mission Enablement/Business Operations Branch perform, grow, and advance more effectively and efficiently. This consultant will create process improvement plans and SOPs, implement solutions and efficiencies, manage internal processes for Travel, Training, Purchase Card requests, and Awards and Recognition. This position will communicate to the CB workforce all process guidelines and provide aid in process support to the CB workforce. This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail, organized and efficient, and has the ability to address workforce of all levels and develop/build strong relationships that instill confidence in CB’s processes and procedures.
Responsibilities Will Include
Provide administrative support
Program management and workforce operations experience
Evaluate, manage, and update administrative processes
Analyze and assess the effectiveness of programs and processes
Ensure compliancy with policies and procedures
Develop standard operating procedures, process/policy information sheets, and cross-functional communications/supporting documentation
Coordinate and streamline administrative and management services
Coordinate, review, and approve travel requests and expenses
Manage and track the CB awards and recognition program
Provide effective communication support to help define policy and procedure objectives and guidance to the workforce
Innovative thinking and strategic thinking capabilities, always working to find ways to improve, streamline, enhance CB policy and procedures that can reduce the administrative burden on the CB workforce
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust
Bachelors Degree
ONE (1) or more years experience related to Business Analysis or Administrative Support or Data Analysis or Process Management or Workforce Planning and/or Cybersecurity
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE Public Trust preferred
Experience with managing/supporting and/or knowledge of cybersecurity
Experience developing and maintaining working relationships while serving Federal clients onsite and remotely.
Ability to identify obstacles and opportunities that impact the success of plans or initiatives.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership when interacting with clients and fellow team members.
Background or experience in program management and process improvement.
Ability to develop a cohesive communications and clear messaging on key priorities and objectives, program updates and new efforts.
