Within the 3D Printing Polymers organization, the Product Management team integrates the definition and development of future products in the areas of hardware, materials, services and sustainability.  In this position you will help understand requirements from customers in industries from automotive, healthcare, industrial and consumer goods to apply to our future roadmap of products and work with our R&D team to bring these solutions to the market.

This is a central business function working with Finance, Commercial Regions, Supply Chain, R&D functions and customers managing existing product portfolio and defining future roadmaps.

Responsibilities
 

  • Define future roadmap of products (HW, materials, services) and work with customers to validate business opportunity, define program requirements, set pricing and work with R&D and all other business functions (Marketing, Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, etc) to deliver on time and on budget

  • Manage HP relationship with material partners and work together to drive 3D adoption

  • Manage current business of consumables (materials and agents). Lead continuous product data and performance analysis to provide insights to leadership on opportunities to drive business optimization and growth. Manage day-to-day of commercial field requests related to materials

  • Work with customers to understand product requirements and validate their applications

  • Prioritize requests from various stakeholders against strategic goals and define requirements for each request

  • Work with internal functions to deliver new products to market

  • Provide regular updates about program progress, issues and risks to stakeholders

  • Stay up to date with industry trends to evolve product positioning, experience and offerings

  • Act as subject matter expert through internal training and develop tools needed (communication tools, product trainings, workshops, etc) to enable regional category and sales teams to effectively tell the product story to partners and customers.

  • Effectively get buy-in on the product vision, strategy and commercials from markets and the channel partners



Education & Experience Recommended
 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Materials or Industrial preferred) and MBA preferably

  • Typically has 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in product management, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills:

– Typically, 5+ years experience in product management roles and/or partner management experience

– Knowledge of the 3D printing industry or technology related field

– Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

– Excellent written and oral communication skills, with an ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as functional / technical / customer & partner deep dives

– Passion for understanding business challenges and delivering outcomes.  Enjoys performing their own data analysis to drive initial conclusions.

–  Able to manage multiple work streams effectively and provide timely updates to leadership
