The Program Manager for the Men’s Programs will have responsibility for clinical management and generation of revenue for the Men’s Residential Program, one Adult Intensive Outpatient Group and one Adult Outpatient Group (Adult Continuum of Care). This will include direct or indirect supervision of all staff assigned to these programs, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with appropriate business stakeholders. The Program Manager will also carry out the Elam Quality Management Plan as it applies to these programs. Program Manager is expected to be on 24-hour on-call.

Daily Operations

  • Manage contractual obligations, facilitate the achievement of revenue, and account for expense in regards to the Elam Center  Adult Continuum of Care Programs for Men.
  • Supervise, coordinate and facilitate training of program staff.  Facilitate and document staff meetings for the Elam Center Men’s Continuum of Care Treatment Program’s staff. Advocating quality working conditions for each.  Lead efforts to find staff when positons are vacated.
  • Lead external marketing efforts in acquiring customers and developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources.  Assist in the collection and reporting of statistical data to funding and other agencies relative to the Elam Center Adult Continuum of Care Treatment Programs for Men, as required.
  • Provide back up for the Elam Center Men’s Continuum of Care Treatment Programs staff in the event of illness, vacations, or other absences from work when necessary. Provide individual, group, and family counseling. Attend all appropriate client care conferences and staff meetings
  • Acquire and maintain a functional knowledge of internal and funding agency standards of service delivery and documentation for the Elam Center Men’s Adult Continuum of Care Treatment Programs. Participate in funding agency training activities as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

                                                                                                                             

Required Skills

  • A comprehensive knowledge of substance abuse treatment.
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff, clients, agencies, etc.
  • Demonstrated effective supervisory skills. 
  • Must be on call for emergencies twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
  • Valid Tennessee Driver’s License and Vehicle to facilitate travel between Elam Center and business related agencies

Required Education and Experience

  • MA. or M.S. in the Behavioral Health Field.  Minimum of three years related experience, inclusive of two years working with female substance-addicted adults.  Licensed to practice independently in state of Tennessee or on licensure track (preferred).
