Senior Implementation Associate

London -Hybrid
 

The Senior Implementation Associate works with an energetic professional services team and will be responsible for designing and configuring the DealCloud platform for our clients in response to their specific business requirements. This position is a mix of client-facing consultative work and behind-the-scenes platform design, configuration, data analysis, and data manipulation. The Senior Implementation Associate should demonstrate passion in and a desire to become skilled in four broad areas:

· Technology: As a market-leading Software as a Service (SaaS) company, the Senior Implementation Associate will be working with cutting edge technology solutions.

· Client-facing skills: Day-to-day responsibilities involve communicating with clients, both on the phone or via email.

· Private Capital Markets: To speak confidently and authoritatively to our clients, the Senior Implementation Associate must either have knowledge in, or be willing to learn about private equity and investment banking front office business operations.

· Data: Analyzing and understanding client data is an important factor that influences a client's system design; as such, the Senior Implementation Associate must be eager to understand data relationships and the interplay between data and business requirements.

What you will do:

· Lead multiple client implementations concurrently with accountability for client communications, weekly status reports and escalation mitigation updates

· Lead requirement gathering sessions onsite at client offices or virtually via web conferencing and/or client offices; consult on documentation of client requirements

· Serve as Subject matter expert in configurating platforms based on client requirements

· Actively develop and execute global design concepts based on client requirements

· Lead and consult on complex QA for client sites

· Analyze client legacy data sets to understand the impact of the data on system design

· Utilize Microsoft Excel to map, collate, and normalize and import disparate data sets

· Consult and develop mitigation strategies for client escalations as necessary

· Responsible for internal project management task completion, including but not limited to:

o Keeping internal systems updated

o Accurate and timely entry of utilization hours

o Project Timelines

o Ensure all in-scope requirements are met during implementation

o Budget

· Actively develop and execute global design concepts based on client requirements

· Provide consultative system design and industry best practice recommendations

· Actively participate and in scoping and Order Form completion for Tiers 3, 4, 5

· Support/Mentor new hire(s) and Associates

o Participate and lead industry deep dives for onboarding new Implementation team members

o Actively coach team members on understanding the impact of data on system design

What you will need:

· 4-6 years of demonstrated successful experience working within a software implementation project-based environment or within Private Equity or Investment banking industry with strong knowledge of business processes

· Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent related experience

· Demonstrated successful experience

· Solid understanding of Private Equity and Investment Banking use cases

· Subject matter expert for most verticals, e.g. Fund of Funds, Credit, Real Estate, Lending

· Demonstrated successful experience working within a software implementation project-based environment

· Successful experience with client interaction, building and maintaining relationships

· Deep understanding of specific use-cases

· Ability to provide sufficient level of consultative service

· Proven experience in leading client meetings and providing effective internal and external communications

· Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Organization, effective time management, and ability to multi-task

· Passion for delivering high quality outcomes using strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities

· Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving situations and work under tight deadlines

· Strong sense of ownership over work

· Willingness and love of learning new technology, new processes and procedures, and new business models to create value for our clients

Preferred Experience & Skills

· 2-4 years of experience with DealCloud product; understanding of DealCloud product best practices or Relational database knowledge

· Demonstrated experience in some type of leadership role within a team or project

· Proven ability to mentor and lead teams of analysts and associates to increase their knowledge and quality of delivery

· Master's degree preferred

· SQL preferred
