Dynamics of the Role
In this role within the Market Development and Strategy team of TransUnion's Consumer Interactive (CI) vertical, you will focus on executing strategic initiatives that drive business growth. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and a hands-on contributor who excels in translating high-level strategies into actionable plans.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with CI leaders and cross-functional teams to implement strategies that align with TransUnion’s global objectives. You will support your leader in driving the 3-year strategy & operating plan for the vertical. Conduct market study to identify significant external developments impacting the CI business and develop response strategies accordingly. Your work will involve operational planning, market analysis, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring that all initiatives are executed efficiently and contribute to the overall success of the CI vertical.

How You Will Contribute
- Collaborate with associates across multiple geographies and business lines to implement market development strategies within the CI vertical, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Understand strategic agendas, market opportunities, and challenges to support targeted business strategy projects and drive business growth.
- Translate strategic objectives into detailed operational plans. Manage the execution of these plans, ensuring that milestones are met and objectives are achieved.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior. Use this data to inform strategic decisions and guide business development efforts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and solutions teams, to coordinate efforts and ensure alignment with company-wide strategies. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
- Assist to create frameworks and prepare documents for market entry plans and go-to-market strategies for new markets and customer segments.
- Contribute to initiatives that drive TransUnion’s CI revenue and growth in high-potential consumer regions. Collaborate with strategic partners in focussed regions to ensure business continuity and growth.
- Identify and recommend improvements to product, process, promotion, marketing, & customer experience. Implement changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the success of the CI vertical.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related fields from a reputed institution is required; Master’s degree would be a plus.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in market development, strategy planning, business development or related fields within Banking, NBFC, Financial services or Fintech industry
- Proven experience in formulating and executing strategic initiatives, competitive market analysis and managing strategy projects / workstreams and delivering results in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal skills are essential for managing internal and external relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are critical.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant software tools. Experience with data analysis and presentation tools is a plus.
- Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including early morning or late evening meetings as needed. Ability to travel occasionally as required by the role.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
